Energy Audits

The ECAD audit is a comprehensive evaluation of your home. The audit will look at certain aspects of the home such as size, number of bedrooms, and type of utilities. Specific energy related items will include insulation levels in the attic and walls, windows types and solar screens, air infiltration, water heater, appliances, and the HVAC system including the duct system.

Home Buyer Inspections

Gauge the overall condition of the property. Knowledge of pre-existing issues provides you the upper-hand in negotiating. It is important to understanding the types of care and maintenance required by the property so you can plan ahead.

Home Seller Inspection

Identify and correct problems before listing your home. Increase marketability through our pre-listing inspection. Avoid costly delays in settlement due to repairs.

Inspection Services

For most people purchasing a home is one of the largest and most significant decisions they will make. A thorough home inspection is essential in the home buying process. It provides information about all the systems of a home and assures the buyer that they are getting appropriate value for their dollars.

  • No stone left unturned.

Energy Audit Services

Under the Energy Conservation Audit and Disclosure (ECAD) ordinance, the city of Austin requires that, prior to the sale of some residential buildings, the owner obtains a comprehensive evaluation of your home by a certified energy professional. The audit will look at certain aspects of the home such as size, number of bedrooms, and type of utilities. Specific energy related items will include insulation levels in the attic and walls, windows types and solar screens, air infiltration, water heater, appliances, and the HVAC system including the duct system.

  • Does my home need an Energy Audit?

Homes 10 years or older, residing within Austin city limits, and serviced by Austin Energy are, with some exemptions, required to have an energy audit, although most homes would benefit. For more information visit Austin Energy.

  • ECAD Audit Report

Upon completion, 360 Home Inspection will compile a report (typically available next-day) and deliver that report, via email, to the client, Austin Energy, and the real-estate agent (optional).
